Privacy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains what Payrabao collects when you ask for help, give, or visit payrabao.com, and what we do with it. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173). Questions go to support@payrabao.com.
What we collect
- Your phone number, first and last name and city, when you sign in to the app.
- For requesters: the bill photo, biller, account number, amount and due date, and the story you write.
- For ID verification: a photo of your government ID and a selfie.
- For helpers giving from the web: the amount, payment method, the name and message you choose to add, and an optional email for the receipt.
- Basic technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) to keep the service secure.
Who sees what
Helpers see a requester's first name, city, story, biller and a masked account number such as “•••• 4821”. They never see the bill photo, the full account number, the ID or the phone number. Reviewers on our team see the full request to check it.
A helper's name is shown according to the choice made for each gift: to everyone, only to the requester, or to nobody. Card and wallet details stay with the payment provider; Payrabao never stores card numbers.
Why we use it
- To verify requests and pay the biller.
- To send receipts and updates about a bill you asked for or gave to.
- To prevent fraud, enforce limits and respond to reports.
- To meet anti-money-laundering and tax record-keeping rules.
Who we share it with
Billers receive the account number and amount they need to post the payment. Payment providers process your payment. ID verification partners check identity documents. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep payment and receipt records for as long as Philippine law requires, usually ten years. ID photos are deleted once verification is complete, and bill photos one year after the bill is paid.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@payrabao.com and we will answer within 15 days. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
